The visual element of the pattern is built by repeating the form, thus communicating the sense of balance, order, rhythm or movement, like everyday life, like the habits we have and repeating them in search of harmony.

The pattern is a structure that organizes surfaces or elements in a consistent, regular way. It can also be described as a skeleton that organizes the composition, as a grid.

The visual element of the pattern is built by repeating the form, thus communicating the sense of balance, order, rhythm or movement, like everyday life, like the habits we have and repeating them in search of harmony. Herringbone, the motif used in works, is one of the most well-known patterns used in the textile industry, flooring, street pavement, etc. It is an element with which the human eye has became so common that it seems invisible and imperturbable when we look around.

The black graphical intervention means personality types constrained or forced to mutate after collective behavior, after moral or written laws, according to the social pattern. It goes beyond the physical delimitation of the surface, which is seen only as a point of view. “Crop” refers to removing unwanted parts to improve the framing by emphasizing the subject in question, making it politically correct. From a technical point of view, the works are mostly made of recycled advertising posters, which I gathered from the streets of Bucharest, continuing a problem debated in a previous personal project (Archeology in street advertising) related to the urban identity and its degradation.
